Bullying is so much more than a buzzword: for thousands of students across the country, it's a daily experience.  Lived, breathed, felt, tasted, seen--and heard.  So listen up.  This is what bullying sounds like to Cristel Martinez, a high school student in Philadelphia and a contributor to Philly Youth Radio.  She came to the US from the Dominican Republic with dreams of becoming a music producer, but until then, this is the soundtrack to her new life.

This piece is part of a playlist of teen-produced bullying stories by affiliates of the youth radio network Generation PRX.  Love youth radio? Also check out GPRX's powerful hour-long bullying segment Bullied: Teen Stores from Generation PRX.
